%X Variationsofsedimentationratewithinabasinovergeologictimeareatimeseriesthatcanbefilteredintoseveralcyclicwavecurves.Basedonback-strippingandtheempiricalmodedecompositionmethod,thecoresfrom14wellsintheTarimBasinwereselectedtodofilteringanalysis.Fourcyclesorquasi-cycles(33Ma,64.4Ma,103.6Ma,and224Ma)wereobtained.Amongthese,the33Maperiod,whichwasrelatedtotheinternalearthactivity,anexternalforce,oracombinationofthetwo,wasthemostobvious.The64.4Maperiodcorrespondedtothesolarsystemcrossingthegalaxyplaneortheperiodicmeltingofinner-earthmaterial.The103.6MaperiodwasrelatedwithplatecollisionaltectonismaroundtheTarimPlate.The224Maperiodwasrelatedtoonegalaxyyearandmayalsoberelatedtotheaesthenosphericalconvectioncycle.
