%0 Journal Article %T TheDeepStructureFeatureoftheSichuanBasinandAdjacentOrogens %A XIONG %A Xiaosong %A GAO %A Rui %A *GUO %A Lianghui %A WANG %A Haiyan %A and %A JIANG %A Zhuwei %J µØÖÊѧ±¨ %P 1153-1164 %D 2015 %X Thebasin-mountainsystemintheSichuanBasin(SCB)reflectsthemaintectonicactivityandtheorogenicdenudationinthisregion.Theseismicprobingworkrevealsthedeepstructureofthebasin-mountainsystem.Theseismicworkwasre-sampledtotheMohodepthandthesedimentarythicknessaswellastheP-wavevelocity-depthfunctiontoanalyzethedeepstructureoftheSCBandadjacentorogens.TheresultsshowtwodepositcentersintheSCB:theDeyangareainthewestandtheNanchuanareaintheeastanddepressionupliftexistsinthesouthwesternpartoftheSCB;theMohoshallowersgraduallyfromthewesttoeast(ca.62-36kmdeep),theSouth-Northseismicbelt(SNSB)isverydistinctive:theMohodepthismuchshallower(<50km)totheeastoftheSNSB,whereasitismuchdeeper(>50km)tothewestoftheSNSB,suggestingthattheSNSBratherthantheLongmenShantectonicbeltisamainMohotransitionbelt;thetopographyandthetopinterfaceofthebasementhavethesameundulationtrendwhenthesedimentarythicknessandtheMohodepthhaveamirrorrelationship;thelowvelocityzonedevelopedintheKangdianthrustandfoldbeltandSongpan-Garz¨ºbeltimpliedasoft,weakandthickcrustthereshowingtectonicactivityintheseareas. %K Sichuanbasin %K basin-rangecontactzone %K deepstructure %K topinterfaceofbasement %K Mohodepth %U http://www.geojournals.cn/dzxb/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=201504007&flag=1
