%0 Journal Article %T ONTWOSKELETONSOFDICYNODONTlAFROMSINKIANG %J µØÖÊѧ±¨ %D 1935 %X SincethedetailsoftheTheromorpha-bearingbedsofSinkianghaveasyetnotbeenfullyoutlined,wefeelthatitistooearlytodrawanyreliablestratigraphicalandpal(?)ntologicalconclusionsnow,butwementionthewealthofthefauna.Thetwospecimensheredescribedareallwellpreservedandnearlycomplete.AccordingtotheinformationsuppliedbyYuan,therearestillaconsiderablenumberofboxesunpacked.Wehopetofindmoreinterest-ingfindssoastoobtainageneralviewofthefaunainSinkiang.pal(?)ntologicalseaking,thegeneraofthefaunasofarrecognizedareDicynodon,LystrosaurusandChasmatosaurus(aPelcosimia)(tobedescribedinthenearfuture).NoCynodontiaorotherinterestingformsarerecorded.Thisstronglysuggeststhat,asintheKarrooformation,DicynodonandLystrosaurusalsorepresentthemostcommonandwidelydistributedanimalsamongtheotherTheromorphanreptilesinSinkiang.AsfarastheknownformsinSinkiangareconcerned,noremarkableanatomicalcharactersarefound.AllthreegeneraareknowninS.Africa.Itthereforeseems,thateitheralandconnectionbetweenbothexistedorthattheconditionsbetweenbothduringthePermo-Triassictimewereextremelysimilar. %U http://www.geojournals.cn/dzxb/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=19350435&flag=1
