%X Duetothefactthattherelationshipbetweentheextrudationmoistureregainofsizedyarnsandsizepick-upisexpressedonlybyanapproximateequation,andwhichisnotsuitableforprewettingsizingprocess,accurateequationstoexpresstherelationshipsbetweentheextrudationmoistureregainofsizedyarnsandsizepick-upfortraditionalsizingprocess(includinghigh-pressuresizing)andprewettingsizingarederived.Whentheprewettingsizinghasthesameextrudationmoistureregainofsizedyarnsandthesamesizeconcentrationasthetraditionalsizingprocess,prewettingsizingleadstolowersizepick-up.Thedeviationoftheextrudationmoistureregainobtainedbytheapproximateequationincreaseswithincreasingofsizeconcentration.
