%0 Journal Article %T PreparationofTiO2NanoparticlesCoatedCottonFibersatLowTemperatureandTheirPhotocatalyticActivity %A 石中亮 %A 卢昌岁 %A 王海波 %A 潘永娥 %A 姚淑华 %J 过程工程学报 %D 2010 %X TiO2nanoparticlescoatedcottonfibercompositewassuccessfullypreparedbyusingasol-gelmethodatlowtemperature(about100℃)usingtetrabutyl-titanate[Ti(OBu)4]asrawmaterial.ThepreparationoftheTiO2colloidandthecompositeweredescribed.ThepropertiesofresultingmaterialswerecharacterizedbySEMandXRD,thephotocatalyticdegradationperformancewastestedusingmethyleneblue(MB)asthetargetpollutantinaqueoussolution.TheresultsshowedthattheamorphousTiO2nanoparticlesweredistributedevenlyontheoutersurfacesofcottonfibers,whichshowsefficientphotocatalyticpropertieswhenexposedtoUVlight,thedegradationrateofMBreached95.35%undertheconditionsofcatalystdosage2.5g/L,MBconcentration50mg/L,irradiationtime120min,andpH10,andthephotocatalyticactivityofTiO2/cottonfibersremainedabove90%ofitsactivityas-preparedafterbeingusedfourtimes,thedegradationrateofMBcouldreach88.78%whenirradiationtimewas120min.ThephotocatalyticdegradationofMBcouldbeproperlydescribedbythefirst-orderkineticlaw.BycomparisonoftheremovalratesofMBwithandwithoutUVlight,itcouldbeaffirmedthatthedisappearanceofMBwasduetophotodegradationratherthanadsorptiononcottonfibers. %K TiO2nanoparticles %K cottonfibers %K photocatalysis %K methyleneblue %U http://www.jproeng.com/qikan/Cpaper/zhaiyao.asp?bsid=15648
