%X Lipasewasimmobilizedinionexchangeresinandthenusedinthehydrolysisofoliveoiltoproducefattyacidsandglycerol.Thetimecourseofhydrolysisofoliveoilwasinvestigatedinastirredtankreactorusingbothofthefreeandimmobilizedlipasestofindtheyieldofactivityofimmobilizedenzyme.ContinuoushydrolysisofoliveoilwasalsocarriedoutinataperedcolumnreactorandacylindricalcolumnreactorwithabottomIDof10mmatdifferentupwardflowrates.Itcanbeknownfromexperimentalresultsthatthedegreeofhydrolysisofoliveoilinthetaperedcolumnreactorismoderatelybetterthanthatinthecylindricalcolumnreactor,thepressuredropinthetaperedcolumnreactorismuchsmallerthanthatinthecylindricalcolumnreactor.
