%0 Journal Article %T CharacterizationoftheMechanicalPropertiesofUrea-FormaldehydeMicrocapsules %A 刘天中 %J 过程工程学报 %D 2005 %X Themechanicalpropertiesofurea-formaldehyde(U-F)microcapsulesweredeterminedusingamicromanipulationtechniqueandatheoreticalmodel.Loading-unloading,compressingandholding,andcompressingtoburstingtestsatdifferentspeedsbetweentwoparallelplatesforsinglemicrocapsuleswerecarriedout.ItwasfoundthattheU-Fmicrocapsuleswerevisco-elastic(mainlyelastic)atsmallcompressivedeformation,andplasticunderlargedeformation.Thetransitionpointfromelastictoplasticoccurredatabout(14±0.2)%compressivedeformation.Allthemicrocapsuleswoulddisruptwhencompressedtoabout(17±0.2)%deformation,andtheburstforceincreasedlinearlywiththeirdiameter.Compressingspeedhadnoremarkableeffectonbothburstforceandburstdeformation.Liquidfillednon-permeableandlinearelasticsphericalmembranemodelwasusedtosimulatetheuniaxialcompressionofsinglemicrocapsule,anditsmembranemodulusEhwasdeterminedbyfittingmodelpredictiontoexperimentaldata.TheaveragevalueofEhwasestimatedtobe(478±8)N/m. %K urea-formaldehydemicrocapsule %K micromanipulationtechnique %K mechanicalproperties %K linearelasticity %K Young¢smodulus %U http://www.jproeng.com/qikan/Cpaper/zhaiyao.asp?bsid=353
