%X Thisarticleprovidesanoutlineonarecentapplicationofsoftcomputingfortheminingofmicroarraygeneexpressions.Wedescribeinvestigationswithanevolutionaryroughfeatureselectionalgorithmforfeatureselectionandclassificationoncancerdata.Roughsettheoryisemployedtogeneratereducts,whichrepresenttheminimalsetsofnonredundantfeaturescapableofdiscerningbetweenallobjects,inamultiobjectiveframework.Theexperimentalresultsdemonstratetheeffectivenessofthemethodologyonthreecancerdatasets.
