%X Advancesinmobiledevices,sensorsandwirelessnetworkshavemotivatedthedevelopmentoflocationbasedservices(LBS)applications.However,mostofthepositioningmethodsspecificallydesignedforeitherindoororoutdoorandtheiraccuracyandprecisiondiffersgreatly,soit’sdifficultusingonlyonepositioningmethodtomeetallpeople’sdemands.ThispaperproposesanewarchitectureforubiquitouslocationbasedservicesinTDSCDMA.Inthisarchitecturetheproperpositioningmethodsaredeterminedbytheuses’surroundingsandthedemandsofaccuracyandprecision,andtheproblemthattheuser’senvironmentschangehasbeenalsoresolvedcommendably.Andthisarchitecturesolvestheproblemthatenvironmentchangeswhilepositioning.Thesimulationshowsthateveryonecanusethelocationbasedservicesanywhereandanytimewiththemobileterminalthroughthisarchitecture.
