%0 Journal Article %T Impact Analyses of Wind Farm on Performances ofTransmission Line Relay Protection %A JinWANG %A BaohuiZHANG %J 电力系统自动化 %D 2012 %X Asimulationsystemforpowergridwithconcentratedlarge-scalewindfarmintegrationisestablishedbasedontheelectro-magnetictransientmodelofwindturbineequippedwithdoubly-fedinductiongenerator(DFIG),whichisbuiltbyreal-timedigitalsimulator(RTDS).UsingthehardwarecommunicationinterfaceofRTDS,aclosed-looptestingexperimentisaccomplishedtostudytheimpactsoflarge-scalewindfarmsontheexistingrelayprotectiondevicesforwindfarmoutgoingtransmissionline.Thispaperpointsoutproblemsexistingincurrentrelayprotectiondevicesasfollows:faultphaseselectorcanselectunwantedphaseduetothechangesoffaultfeaturescausedbyspecialnetworkconnectionofwindfarms;blockingconditionfordistanceprotectionsneedstobere-examinedduetotheweakpower-feedcharacteristicsofwindfarms;andpowerfrequencyparameterbasedrelayprotectiondevicescannotaccuratelyoperateduetothespecialtransientvoltageandcurrentcharacteristicsofwindfarmsduringfaultperiod.Resultslaythefoundationforimprovingtheperformancesoftheexistingrelayprotectiondeviceanddevelopingnewprinciplerelayprotection. %K wind %K farm %K transmission %K line %K relay %K protection %K doubly-fed %K induction %K generator(DFIG) %K real-time %K digitalsimulator(RTDS) %U http://www.aeps-info.com/aeps/ch/reader/view_abstract.aspx?file_no=201112235&flag=1
