%X AlotofbitingmidgescollectedfromCambodia(Phnom-penh,Komp-ongSom,Suong)in¢ò-¢ô,1976werestudied.Atotalof16speciesbelong-ingto2genera¨D¨DLeptoconopsandCulicoidesareobtained.Amongthem,2speciesaredescribedasnewtoecienceand10speciesarenewrecordsforCambodianfauna.Anewrevisedlistofbitingmidgescontaining20speciesareknownfromCambodiauptodate.ItshowsthattherecordofCulicoidesinnoxiusSenetDasGupta,1959fromCambodiaisthenewsynonymofCulicoidesmalagaeMacfie,1937.AlltypespecimensaredepositedintheDepartmentofParasitology,SecondMilitaryMadicalCollege,Shanghai,China.
