%0 Journal Article %T NonlinearInteractionsbetweentheQuasi5-dayWaveandTidesBasedonMeteorRadarObservationsatMauiormalsize %A GU %A Jingxiao %A HUANG %A Chunming %A HUANG %A Kaiming %J 空间科学学报 %P 445-452 %D 2015 %R 10.11728/cjss2014.04.445 %X Nonlinearinteractionsbetweenthequasi5-daywaveandtidesbasedonmeteorradarobservationintheMesosphereandLowerThermosphere(MLT)atMauiarestudiedinthispaper.Strongsuminteractionbetweenquasi5-daywaveanddiurnaltide,andevidentdifferenceinteractionbetweenquasi5-daywaveandsemidiurnaltideareobservedduringthetimeofattention.However,theirdifferenceandsumcounterpartsareclearlyweaker.Thesecondarywavesgeneratedfromthoseinteractionsbeatwiththetideandshowintensemodulationattheperiodof5dayswhichconfirmstheexistenceoftheirinteractions.Additionally,correlationcoefficientsamongthesewavesarecalculatedtofurtherexploretheirinteractionsandfindthattheycanpersistforseveraldaysalthoughtheyarehighlyintermittent.Theenergyexchangeamongthesewavescanbereversibleduringtheobservationaltime.Theperiodswhenthesignificantdifferenceinteractionbetweenthequasi5-daywaveandsemidiurnaltideoccuraremuchshorterthanthosewhenthesignificantsuminteractionbetweenthequasi5-daywaveanddiurnaltideoccur.Moreover,thesetwostronginteractionscantakeplacesimultaneously.Ingenerally,thisstudyprovidestheproofofnonlinearinteractionsbetweenquasi5-daywaveandtideswhichwereseldomreportedbefore. %K Quasi5-daywave %K Tides %K Nonlinearinteraction %K Mesosphereandlowerthermosphere %U http://www.cjss.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract2150.shtml
