%X TheMeridianProjectisaground-basednetworkprogramtomonitorSolar-Terrestrialspaceenvironment,whichconsistsofachainofground-basedobservatorieswithmultipleinstrumentsincludingmagnetometers,ionosondes,HFandVHFradars,Lidars,IPSmonitors,soundingrocketsetc.Thechainismainlylocatedintheneighborhoodof120$^\circ$Emeridian,andisthusnamedtheMeridianProject.TheMeridianProjecthasofficiallybeenapprovedandsupportedbytheChinesegovernmentandwillbefinishedbytheendof2010.ThisreportgivesanoverviewoftheMeridianProject,andreportstherecentdevelopmentsince2008.
