%0 Journal Article %T InvolvementofXZFP36L1,anRNA-bindingprotein,inXenopusneuraldevelopment %A Yingjie XIA %A Shuhua ZHAO %A Bingyu MAO %J 动物学研究 %P 82-88 %D 2012 %R 10.3724/SP.J.1141.2012.E05-06E82 %X XenopusZFP36L1(zincfingerprotein36,C3Htype-like1)belongstotheZFP36familyofRNA-bindingproteins,whichcontainstwocharacteristictandemCCCH-typezinc-fingerdomains.TheZFP36proteinscanbindAU-richelementsin3'untranslatedregionsoftargetmRNAsandpromotetheirturnover.However,theexpressionandroleofZFP36genesduringneuraldevelopmentinXenopusembryosremainslargelyunknown.ThepresentstudyshowedthatXenopusZFP36L1wasexpressedatthedorsalpartoftheforebrain,forebrain-midbrainboundary,andmidbrain-hindbrainboundaryfromlateneurulastagestotadpolestagesofembryonicdevelopment.OverexpressionofXZFP36L1inXenopusembryosinhibitedneuralinductionanddifferentiation,leadingtosevereneuraltubedefects.ThefunctionofXZP36L1requiresbothitszincfingerandCterminaldomains,whichalsoaffectitssubcellularlocalization.TheseresultssuggestthatXZFP36L1islikelyinvolvedinneuraldevelopmentinXenopusandmightplayanimportantroleinpost-transcriptionalregulation. %K ZFP36L1 %K RNA-bindingprotein %K Neuraldevelopment %K Xenopus %K Post-transcriptionalregulation %U http://www.zoores.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract3262.shtml
