%0 Journal Article %T Age,growthandreproductionofSarcocheilichthysnigripinnisfromtheQingyiStreamintheHuangshanMountains %J 动物学研究 %P 25-31 %D 2012 %X Identifyingthelife-historystrategiesoffishandtheirassociationswiththesurroundingenvironmentisthebasicfoundationintheconservationandsustainableutilizationoffishspecies.Weexaminedtheage,growth,andreproductionofSarcocheilichthysnigripinnisusing352specimenscollectedmonthlyfromMay2009toApril2010intheQingyiStream.Wefoundthesexratioofthisstudypopulationwas0.58:1(female:male),significantlydifferentfromexpected1:1.Femalesandmalesbothcomprisedfouragegroups.TheannulionthescaleswereformedduringFebruaryandMarch.Noobviousbetween-sexdifferencewasobservedinlength-weightandlength-scale-radiusrelationships.Thetotallengthinback-calculationsignificantlyincreasedwithageforbothsexes,butdidnotdiffersignificantlyateachagebetweenthetwosexes.AninflectionpointwasobservedinthegrowthcurvesgivenbythevonBertalanffygrowthfunctionfortotalweight.Atthisinflectionpoint,fishwere3.95years.Bothsexesreachtheir50%sexmaturityatage2,whenfemalesandmaleswere94.7mmand103.0mmtotallength.Thetemporalpatternofthegonado-somaticindexcorrespondedtoaspawningperiodthatoccurredfromAprilthroughJuly.Thenon-synchronicityofeggdiameterineachmatureovaryduringthebreedingperiodsuggestedthesefishmaybebatchspawners.Theabsolutefecundityincreasedsignificantlywithtotallengthandweight,whereasnosignificantcorrelationwasobservedbetweentherelativefecundityandbodysize. %K Sarcocheilichthysnigripinnis %K Agestructure %K Annulusformation %K Sexualmaturity %K Spawningperiod %K Reproductiveinvestment %U http://www.zoores.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract3186.shtml
