%0 Journal Article %T Characterizationof12polymorphicmicrosatellitemarkersintheChinesetreeshrew(Tupaiabelangerichinensis) %A Xiao-Hong LIU %A Yong-Gang YAO %J 动物学研究 %D 2013 %R 10.3724/SP.J.1141.2013.E02E62 %X TheChinesetreeshrew(Tupaiabelangerichinensis)isasmallexperimentalanimalwithacloseaffinitytoprimates.Thisspecieshaslongbeenproposedtobeanalternativeexperimentalanimaltoprimatesinbiomedicalresearch.Despitedecadesofstudy,thereisnopurebreedforthisanimal,andtheoverallgeneticdiversityofwildtreeshrewsremainslargelyunknown.Inordertoobtainasetofgeneticmarkersforevaluatingthegeneticdiversityoftreeshrewwildpopulationsandtracingthelineagesininbreedingpopulations,wedeveloped12polymorphicmicrosatellitemarkersfromthegenomicDNAofthetreeshrew.Ananalysisofawildpopulationof117individualscollectedfromthesuburbofKunming,China,showedthattheselociexhibitedahighlyexpectedheterozygosity(0.616).These12microsatellitesweresufficientforindividualidentificationandparentageanalysis.Themicrosatellitemarkersdevelopedinthisstudywillbeofuseinevaluatinggeneticdiversityandlineagetracingforthetreeshrew. %K Chinesetreeshrew %K Microsatellite %K Heterozygosity %K Individualidentification %K Parentagetesting %U http://www.zoores.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract3320.shtml
