%0 Journal Article %T ThecoexistenceofsevensympatricfulvettasinAilaoMountains,EjiaTown,YunnanProvince %A Ji XIA %A Fei WU %A Wan-Zhao HU %A Jian-Ling FANG %A Xiao-Jun YANG %J 动物学研究 %P 18-28 %D 2015 %R 10.13918/j.issn.2095-8137.2015.1.18 %X Thecoexistenceofecologicallysimilarspeciessharingsympatricareasisacentralissueofcommunityecology.Nichedifferentiationisrequiredatleastinonedimensiontoavoidcompetitiveexclusion.From2012-2014,byadoptingthemethodsofmist-netsandpointcountstoevaluatespatialnichepartitioningandmorphologicaldifferentiations,weexploredthecoexistencemechanismsofsevensympatricfulvettasinAilaoMountains,Ejiatown,YunnanProvince,China.Themicrohabitatsofthesesevenfulvettasweresignificantlydifferentinelevation,roostsiteheightandvegetationcoverage,indicatingaspatialnichesegregationindifferentlevels.Approximately,90.30%ofthesampleswerecorrectlyclassifiedbylineardiscriminantanalysis(LDA)withcorrectratesat91.20%-100%,excepttheWhite-browedfulvetta(Alcippevinipectus)(65.4%)andtheStreak-throatedfulvetta(A.cinereiceps)(74.6%).Thesevenfulvettaswereclassifiedintofourguildsbasedontheirspecificmorphologicalcharacters,suggestingthatthespeciesineachguildusetheiruniquefeedingwaystorealizeresourcepartitioningintheoverlappedareas.Thesefindingindicatethatthroughmulti-dimensionalspatialnichesegregationanddivergenceinresourceutilizing,theinter-specificcompetitionamongthesesevenfulvettasisminimized,whereas,coexistenceispromoted. %K Fulvettas %K Coexistence %K Nichesegregation %K AilaoMountains %U http://www.zoores.ac.cn/CN/abstract/abstract3558.shtml
