%0 Journal Article %T Silvernanoparticledecoratedpoly(2-aminodiphenylamine)modifiedcarbonpasteelectrodeasasimpleandefficientelectrocatalystforoxidationofformaldehyde %A Reza Ojani %A Saeid Safshekan %A Jahan-Bakhsh Raoof %J ´ß»¯Ñ§±¨ %P 1565-1570 %D 2014 %R 10.1016/S1872-2067(14)60115-7 %X £¿Thisworkdescribesthepromisingactivityofsilvernanoparticlesonthesurfaceofapoly(2-aminodiphenylamine)modifiedcarbonpasteelectrode(CPE)towardsformaldehydeoxidation.ElectrodepositionoftheconductingpolymerfilmontheCPEwascarriedoutusingconsecutivecyclicvoltammetryinanaqueoussolutionof2-aminodiphenylamineandHCl.NitrogengroupsinthepolymerbackbonehadaAgionaccumulatingeffect,allowingAgnanoparticlestobeelectrochemicallydepositedonthesurfaceoftheelectrode.Theelectrochemicalandmorphologicalcharacteristicsofthemodifiedelectrodewereinvestigated.Theelectro-oxidationofformaldehydeonthesurfaceofelectrodewasstudiedusingcyclicvoltammetryandchronoamperometryinaqueoussolutionof0.1mol/LNaOH.Theelectro-oxidationonsetpotentialwasfoundtobearound-0.4V,whichisuniqueintheliterature.Theeffectofdifferentconcentrationsofformaldehydeontheelectrocatalyticactivityofthemodifiedelectrodewasinvestigated.Finally,thediffusioncoefficientofformaldehydeinalkalinemediawascalculatedtobe0.47¡Á10-6cm2/susingchronoamperometry. %K Electrocatalyst %K Silvernanoparticle %K Formaldehyde %K 2-Aminodiphenylamine %K Carbonpasteelectrode %U http://www.chxb.cn/CN/abstract/abstract21372.shtml
