Santacesaria %J ´ß»¯Ñ§±¨ %P 663-669 %D 2014 %R 10.1016/S1872-2067(14)60069-3 %X £¿Glycerolfrombiodieselproductioncanbeanimportantindustrialfeedstockforchemicalcommoditiesasitcanbeusedinthefood,cosmetic,pharmaceuticalandtobaccoindustries.However,crudeglycerolderivedfrombiodieselproductionhasalowvaluebecauseofimpurities.Thepurificationofthisglycerolintoahighgradeinvolveshighcostsandisnoteconomicallyfeasibleforsmallandmediumsizeplants.Theglycerolconversionintochlorohydrinswasstudiedusingnewhomogeneouscatalystsandhydrochloricacidaschlorinationagent.Thisisaninterestingalternativeroutetoepichlorohydrinandthentoepoxyresins.Thebehavioroftwoseriesofhomologouscatalysts,glycolicacidseries(glycolicacid,di-glycolicacidandthio-glycolicacid)andamminoacidseries(glutamicacid,asparticacidandcysteine),wereinvestigatedfortheiractivityandselectivity.Glycolicacidsweremoreactivethanamminoacids.ThepKavalueshadastronginfluenceonselectivity(mono-chlorohydrins/di-chlorohydrins)fortheamminoacidseries,whichwasnotobservedfortheglycolicacids.Akineticmodelandreactionmechanismdevelopedinapreviousworkwereusedforinterpretingthekineticruns. %K Glycerolchlorination %K Chlorohydrins %K Epichlorohydrin %K Hydrochloricacidgas %U http://www.chxb.cn/CN/abstract/abstract21313.shtml
