%0 Journal Article %T ACarbonNanotubeModifiedElectrodeforDeterminationofCaffeinebyDifferentialPulseVoltammetry %A Biuck HABIBI %A Mehri ABAZARI %A Mohammad Hossien POURNAGHI-AZAR %J ´ß»¯Ñ§±¨ %P 1783-1790 %D 2012 %R 10.1016/S1872-2067(11)60438-5 %X £¿Asimpleandsensitiveelectrochemicaldetectionofcaffeine(CAF)usingasingle-walledcarbonnanotubesoncarbon-ceramicelectrode(SWCNT/CCE)isreported.CAFwasoxidizedatthesurfaceofthemodifiedelectrodetoproduceananodicpeakat1.38Vversusthesaturatedcalomelelectrodein0.01mol/L,pH1.7H2SO4solutionincyclicvoltammetry.Theexperimentalparameters,namely,typeofelectrolyte,pHvalue,andamountofSWCNTscasted,wereoptimized.Usingtheoptimumconditions,theanodicpeakcurrentindifferentialpulsevoltammetrywaslinearwithCAFconcentrationintherangeof2.5¡Á10-7-1.0¡Á10-4mol/L.Thedetectionlimitwas1.2¡Á10-7mol/L(S/N=3).Themodifiedelectrodeexhibitedgoodstabilityandcanbeeasilyregenerated.Therelativestandarddeviationofthepeakcurrentobtainedfora5.0¡Á10-5mol/LCAFsolutionwas3.0%.Theinfluenceofsomeimportantbiologicalcompounds,namely,ascorbicacid,dopamine,anduricacidandaddictivecompoundslikecodeine,morphine,andacetaminophenontheCAFanodicpeakcurrentwasexamined.ThemethodwassuccessfullyappliedforthedeterminationofCAFinsomepracticalsamples. %K caffeine %K electrocatalysis %K electrochemicaldetermination %K single-walledcarbonnanotube %K carbon-ceramicelectrode %U http://www.chxb.cn/CN/abstract/abstract20846.shtml
