HANEDA %J ´ß»¯Ñ§±¨ %P 1611-1621 %D 2012 %R 10.1016/S1872-2067(11)60440-3 %X £¿Environmentalcatalysishasbeensteadilygrowingbecauseoftheadvancesinitsscientificandengineeringaspects,aswellasduetothenewenvironmentalchallengesintheindustrialera.Thedevelopmentofnewcatalystsandmaterialsisessentialfornewtechnologiesforvariousenvironmentalapplications.Ceramicsplayimportantrolesinvariousenvironmentalapplicationsincludingtheidentification,monitoring,andquantificationofpollutantsandtheircontrol.Ceramicshaveimportantapplicationsassensorsandphotocatalysts,andtheyareextensivelyusedascatalystcarriersandsupports.Manyceramicsarebeingexploredascatalystsforpollutioncontrolapplications.Theirlowcost,thermalandchemicalstability,andcapabilityofbeingtailoredmakethemespeciallyattractiveforpollutioncontrolapplications.Althoughawidevarietyofmaterialshavebeendevelopedascatalystsupports,thisareaisstillofinterestwithnewormodifiedcatalystsupportsbeingfrequentlyreported.Itisofequalimportancetodevelopnewormodifiedprocessesfortheloadingofcatalystsonspecificsupports.Applicationslikechemicalloopingcombustion(CLC)andothercatalyticcombustionprocessesareraisingthedemandstoanewscale.Wehavebeenworkingonthedevelopmentofbothnewandmodifiedsupportmaterials,includingmesoporousmaterialswithoutstructuralorderforpossibleapplicationsinCLCandothercatalyticreactions.Successfulattemptshavebeenmadeinthemodificationofconventional¦Ã-Al2O3andimprovedsynthesisprocessesforsupportingperovskitetypecatalysts.Ourresearchonenvironmentalcatalysisapplicationsofceramicmaterialsandprocessesarealsobrieflydiscussed. %U http://www.chxb.cn/CN/abstract/abstract20811.shtml
