%X ？Thispaperisconcernedwithstateestimationoftwo-dimensional(2-D)discretestochasticsystems.First,2-Ddiscretestochasticsystemmodelisestablishedbyextendingsystemmatricesofthewell-knownFornasini-Marchesini'ssecondmodelintostochasticmatrices.Eachelementofthesestochasticmatricesissecond-orderweaklystationarywhitenoisesequences.Secondly,alinearandunbiasedfull-orderstateestimationproblemfor2-Ddiscretelinearstochasticmodelisformulated.Twoestimationproblemsconsideredarethedesignsforthemean-squareboundedestimationerrorandforthemean-squarestochasticversionofthesuboptimalH∞estimator,respectively.Ourresultscanbeseenasextensionsofthe2-Dlineardeterministiccase.Finally,illustrativeexamplesareprovided.
