%X ？Inthisarticle,westudythelocallydistributedfeedbackstabilizationproblemofanonuniformEuler-Bernoullibeam.Firstly,usingthesemi-grouptheory,weestablishthewell-posednessoftheassociatedclosedloopsystem.Thenbyprovingtheuniquenessofthesolutiontoarelatedordinarydifferentialequation,wederivetheasymptoticstabilityoftheclosedloopsystem.Finally,bymeansofthepiecewisemultipliermethod,weprovethat,byeitheronedistributedforcefeedbackoradistributedmomentfeedbackcontrol,theclosedloopsystemcanbeexponentiallystabilized.
