%X £¿Thispaperdiscussesthephenomenaofslidingmodeindynamicbehaviorofplanarswitchedsystems.Weproposeanapproachtoestimatethedomaininwhichtheslidingmotionmayoccur.Therelationshipbetweenthechatteringangleandtheswitchingtimeisgivenandutilizedtochecktheexistenceofslidingmodewithchattering.Finally,theapplicationoftheproposedresultsisillustratedbyanexample.
