%X ？The$H_\infty$hybridestimationproblemforlinearcontinuoustime-varyingsystemsisinvestigatedinthispaper,whereestimatedsignalsarelinearcombinationofstateandinput.Designobjectiverequirestheworst-caseenergygainfromdisturbancetoestimationerrorbelessthanaprescribedlevel.Optimalsolutionofthehybridestimationproblemisthesaddlepointofatwo-playerzerosumdifferentialgame.Basedonthedifferentialgameapproach,necessaryandsufficientsolvableconditionsforthehybridestimationproblemareprovidedin\hfillterms\hfillof\hfillsolutions\hfillto\hfilla\hfillRiccati\hfilldiffe-\\rentialequation.Moreover,onepossibleestimatorisproposedifthesolvableconditionsaresatisfied.Theestimatorischaracterizedbyagainmatrixandanoutputmappingmatrixthatreflectstheinternalrelationsbetweentheunknowninputandoutputestimationerror.Bothstateandunknowninputsestimationarerealizedbytheproposedestimator.Thus,theresultsinthispaperarealsocapableofdealingwithfaultdiagnosisproblemsoflineartime-varyingsystems.Atlast,anumericalexampleisprovidedtoillustratetheproposedapproach.
