%X ？Mostexistingalgorithmsforidentifyingmulti-modelsystemarebasedonminimizingthesquareofbiasbetweenglobaloutputsoftheactualsystemandtheidentifiedmodel,buttheresultantmodellacksofrobustness.Inordertosolvethisproblem,thispaperconsiderssomeotheralgorithmsinwhichlocalmodelsareidentifiedindependentlyandpresentsamulti-modelidentificationalgorithmbasedonweightedcostfunction,whichusestheideaoflocalweightedregressionandlocalapproximationwhilekeepsthemodelstructureofglobalidentificationalgorithm.Theresultofapplicationtoa300MWunitboilersuperheaterillustratesthatthemulti-modelgeneratedbytheproposedalgorithmhasbettertrade-offbetweenglobalfittingandlocalinterpretation.
