%X ？<正>AccordingtotheleadingnationalclassificationoftheclimateofChina,givenbyB.Huang(revisedversion1986),Hainanfallsintothetropicalclimaticrealm,subdividedintoa"peripheraltropical"typeforthenorthernpartanda"middletropical"typeforthesouthernpartoftheisland.Whileall-year-roundfrost-freeconditionsdefinethetropicsingeneral,the20t-isothermforthecoldestmonthrepresentstheboundarybetweentheperipheraltropicalandmiddletropicaltypes.Comparedtothetropicalclimateingeneral,Hainanexperiencesdistinctlylowerwintertemperatureswhichthusresultinalargerannualtemperaturevariation.Intermsofprecipitation,HainanrecordsalongrainyseasonthroughthesouthwestmonsoonandtyphoonseasonsfromMayuntilOctoberwhilewinterprecipitationiscomparablylower.Representingtwoagroclimatichazards,strongtyphoonwindsandcoldwavesseriouslyaffectHainan.Althoughtobedefinedas"marginaltropica-1",theclimaticconditionsonHainan
