%X ？Theearth’ssurfacelandscapeclassificationwasobtainedbycomputeranalysisofLANDSATmultispectraldata.Clusteringanalysisofspectraldataprovidesanelement,repeatableclassificationbaseduponspectralcharacteristicsofearth’ssurfacelandscape.Theclassificationprocedurerepeateduntilthedataareclassifiedintothenaturallusters.Inthisexperiment,theclusteringalgorithmyields17(0–16)typesofearth′ssurfacelandscapeby8iterations.Theaccuracyoftheclassificationwasverifiedbyacomparisonwithaerialphotographyandgroundinvestigation,andtheagreementwasintheorderof83%.Theresultsfromautomaticclassificationweresatisfactory.
