%X It is proved that the Hilbert class field of a real quadratic field ${\Bbb Q}(\sqrt{D})$ modulo a power $m$ of the conductor $f$ is generated by the Fourier coefficients of the Hecke eigenform for a congruence subgroup of level $fD$.
