The results of our numerical simulations on a space-time grid are compared to those for the well-known Wigner-Smith time delay and different methods to obtain the latter time delay are reviewed. We further use our numerical method to analyze the effect of a near-infrared streaking field on the time delay obtained in the numerical simulations. %U http://arxiv.org/abs/1301.3194v1
