%X Preliminary polytropic models of a pulsating star have been constructed using the 3-D Hydrocode SPHC. An embedded Rayleigh-Taylor unstable layer is used to study the interaction of pulsation and turbulence. The possible importance of Richtmyer-Meshkov instability is noted for large amplitude pulsation. In addition, this model spontaneously generates a strong, hot, shock driven outflow at the upper boundary.
