Svet %J Journal of Applied Mathematics and Physics %P 524-529 %@ 2327-4379 %D 2015 %I Scientific Research Publishing %R 10.4236/jamp.2015.35064 %X It is shown that the measurement of only one component of the Wein¡¯s spectrum of thermal radiation in range ¦ËT ¡Ü 3000 (°C ¦Ìm) is sufficient to estimate the true temperature and spectral emissivity of the selected component with sufficient accuracy, although more than one hundred years this statement was considered as incorrect.
