such as Dilation, Erosion, Opening and <span style=\"font-size:10pt;\"><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">Closing. We show proofs of our theorems for the above operators when the
structural elements are partitioned. Our results sho</span><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">w that structural elements
can be partitioned before carrying out morphological operations.</span></span>
