%0 Journal Article %T A New Lignan Glucoside from the Whole Plants of Salvia Scapiformis %A Yongji Lai %A Shuiping Ding %A Huiqin Qian %A Jinwen Zhang %A Yongbo Xue %A Zengwei Luo %A Guangmin Yao %A Yonghui Zhang %J Molecules %D 2013 %I MDPI AG %R 10.3390/molecules180911377 %X Phytochemical investigation of the whole plants of Salvia scapiformis Hance afforded eight compounds, including one new lignan, (+)-8 ¦Á-hydroxypinoresinol-8- O-[6¡ä¡ä- O-(4¡ä¡ä¡ä-hydroxybenzoyl)]- ¦Â-d-glucopyranoside ( 1), four known lignans, (+)-8 ¦Á-hydroxy-pinoresinol-8- O- ¦Â-d-glucopyranoside ( 2), (+)-8 ¦Á-hydroxypinoresinol ( 3), (+)-pinoresinol ( 4), and (+)-medioresinol ( 5), and three known triterpenoids, ursolic acid ( 6), 4- epi-niga-ichigoside F1 ( 7), and niga-ichigoside F1 ( 8). Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses and comparison with spectroscopic data in the literature.
