Herein we report the case of a 13-year-old girl with a congenital umbilical mass. This mass had been misdiagnosed as a lipoma at birth. Awareness of this lesion can avoid its misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatment.</span><span style=\"font-family:Verdana;\"></span>
