	<span lang=\"EN-US\">The article prese</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">n</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">ts the results of
study of composition, structure and properties of three genetic types of
serpentinites from Ural: </span><span lang=\"EN\">developed
by </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">chromite-bearing </span><span lang=\"EN\">ultrabasic rocks</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">, by
metamorphic zones of carbonate rocks and within the zone of weathering of
ultrabasic rocks.</span><span lang=\"EN\"> The samples
were </span><span lang=\"EN-US\">selected from deposits, located along the Main
Ural Fault</span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> </span><span lang=\"EN\">- the Paleozoic subduction zone (named
GUR). P</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">eculiarities of microstructure, chemical
composition and properties of serpentinites formed in different geological
conditions were investigated and their comparative study was held. Three groups
of serpentinites with oriented and non-oriented structure</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">,</span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> which
formed by different protholites</span><span lang=\"EN-US\">,</span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> were devided: mantle, lithosphere and crust.</span>
