%X <span>Diffuse Idiopathic Neuroendocrine Cell Hyperplasia (DIPNECH) is a rare pulmonary disease. </span><span>It was </span><span>first described by Aguayo <i>et al</i>. in 1992</span><span>, and </span><span>recognised by the World Health Organisation in 2004 as a precursor lesion to the development of</span><span> </span><span>pulmonary carcinoid tumour. DIPNECH has been described in several isolated case reports and series. This article describes a case of DIPNECH and summaries the recent literature in an attempt to raise awareness of this disease and management options.</span>
