Materialand methods: Thirty randomly selected female students aged 17-25 years volunteered to participate in the study.They were randomly assigned into two groups: A (experimental) and B (control). The subjects were subjected to a six week suryanamaskar yogasana training programme. The difference in the mean of each group for selected variable was tested for the significance of difference by Ħ°tĦħ test. The level of significance was set at 0.05.Results: The muscular endurance and flexibility significantly improved in group A compared with the control one.
