All complexes were found to be stable at room temperature but they decomposed without melting above about 90 oC. The allylsilane complex decomposed above about 125 oE),(E)-1,4-diphenyl-1,3-butadiene was stereoselectively synthesised in good yield from (E)-¦Â-styrylsilane in the presence of Zeise¡¯s salt. %K Thermal analysis %K Vinyl- and allylsilane platinum(II) ¦Ğ-complexes %K Platinum(II) catalysed synthesis %K (E) %K (E)-1 %K 4-diphenyl-1 %K 3-butadiene %U http://www.ajol.info/index.php/bcse/article/view/61235
