This study concerns the well preserved tree remnants as well as accompanying depositional series and their sedimentaryenvironments in relation to the geological position. The depositional sequence presented covers periods from the Middle Weichselian onwards. The riparian forest dates at the Younger Dryas. Environmental changes connected with rapid cooling were responsiblefor its destruction. %K sediments %K organic sediments %K trees %K subfossils %K paleoenvironment %K climate change %K Weichselian %K Younger Dryas %K Kozmin %K Poland %U http://www.geologinenseura.fi/bulletin/Volume84/Dzieduzynska.pdf
