%X The paper focuses on a comparative analysis of the timber auction (divided by species and types) ¨C including two dimensions: total timber mass resources from a specific area (coniferous and deciduous, age of the trees, diameters and height, health) and forest accessibility ¨C carried out in various areas of Romania (especially in Maramures) and their effects on the final price of the timber.
