%X The article examines some aspects, concerning the infusion of officialdom of the former Getmanshchina into bureaucratic space of the Russian Empire in the second half of the §·V    century. One of the major reasons of the integration easiness is the comparatively high educational level of local elite in the mentioned region, as they held main bulk of positions in the newly created administration. Special attention is attached to the transfer from local tradition of promotion in rank to the imperial standard system
