Kihoro %J Business Management Dynamics %D 2012 %I Society for Business and Management Dynamics %X The purpose of this study was to assess mobile phone service with the greatest positive effect on firm performance in Thika town in Kenya. It adopted an exploratory design where a two-stage, Stratified and Simple random sampling, technique was employed. A total of 120 questionnaires were personally administered- yielding a response rate of 100%. Data was subjected to detailed exploratory analysis through descriptive procedures. Reliability and internal consistency of the measurement models was tested using Cronbach¡¯s alpha. Results of the study revealed that mobile calls have the greatest positive effect on performance of manufacturing firms. M-pesa ranked second, Mobile messaging third while mobile internet and mobile banking ranked fourth and fifth respectively.
