%X Partant de l¡¯hypoth¨¨se qu¡¯au cin¨¦ma, un plan travaill¨¦ ¨¤ la mani¨¨re d¡¯un tableau engage, non pas un   arr¨ºt   du r¨¦cit, mais un enrichissement de la logique narrative lin¨¦aire du film par une s¨¦miotique tabulaire et des jeux de r¨¦f¨¦rences interm¨¦diales, cet article analyse le cas exemplaire et r¨¦current des plans qui reconstituent en   tableau vivant   La C¨¨ne de L¨¦onard de Vinci. Christus (Giulio Antamoro, 1914-1916), Ben Hur, a tale of the Christ (Fred Niblo, 1925) ou Quo Vadis (Mervyn LeRoy, 1951) y sont explor¨¦s, ainsi que d¡¯autres productions qui replacent la composition du Cenacolo ¨¤ la fois en une   phase   et une   stase   dramatique et esth¨¦tique du r¨¦cit christique. Des films tels que Viridiana (Luis Bu uel, 1961) sont aussi ¨¦voqu¨¦s, qui font appara tre la composition comme une pause all¨¦gorique d¡¯un r¨¦cit contemporain, enrichi sur un plan ¨¦nonciatif, symbolique et iconographique. Based on the hypothesis that in the cinema, a shot worked in the style of a picture doesn¡¯t ¡°stop¡± the storyline but expands the linear narrative with tabular semiotics and artistic references, this article analyzes the exemplary and recurring case of the shots which reconstitute Leonardo da Vinci¡¯s Last Supper as a ¡°living picture¡±. Christus (Giulio Antamoro, 1914-1916), Ben Hur, a tale of the Christ (Fred Niblo, 1925), Quo Vadis (Mervyn LeRoy, 1951) and other movies are investigated, that replace the famous Cenacolo as both a phase and a stasis of the Christlike narrative. Films like Viridiana (Luis Bu uel, 1961) are mentioned too, where da Vinci¡¯s composition occurs like an allegorical extension of a contemporary story, enriched both symbolically and iconographically.
