Comment ¨¦valuer les effets de ce dispositif ? Tout d¡¯abord, nous consid¨¦rons les dispositifs mis en uvre par les Offices comme une r¨¦ponse ¨¤ la diversit¨¦ des publics, enfants ou adultes, hommes ou femmes, des mondes ouvriers ou des classes interm¨¦diaires, des espaces ruraux ou urbains, de m¨¦tropole ou des colonies. Puis l¡¯int¨¦r¨ºt du cin¨¦ma en mati¨¨re d¡¯enseignement devant un public d¡¯enfants est envisag¨¦ ¨¤ partir des discours des enseignants. Enfin cet article aborde la repr¨¦sentation des enseignants concernant la propagande pour adultes. Des discours ¨¤ la r¨¦alit¨¦, il est finalement propos¨¦ que cette propagande a surtout permis de faire travailler ensemble les animateurs des Offices au moment m¨ºme o¨´ les divers mouvements du centre et de la gauche ¨¦taient divis¨¦s. In France, between the two World Wars, the Educational Cinema Offices built a network of teaching, education and propaganda using cinema. How can the effects of this network be assessed? First of all, we examine the plans of action implemented by the Educational Cinema Offices as an answer to the multiplicity of the audiences, children and adults, men or women, working and middle classes, from rural or urban places, from mainland France or colonies. Then the interest of cinema as a matter of teaching in front of children is considered from speeches of teachers. Finally, this article tackles the opinion of the teachers on the propaganda for adults.
