%X Life and Death are wearing me out is a Chinese novel based on the history happened in China during the second half of Twentieth Century. The Spanish version was indirectly translated from English and published in 2009. As an indirect translation from the English version, the Spanish version motivates the task of clarifying the translation strategies of these two translated texts. This clarification was achieved by comparing the two translated versions with the original Chinese text. The primary objective of this research is to reflect on the indirect translation of Chinese Literature to the Spanish with the example of Life and Death are wearing me out. And to reach our objective, we compared and contrasted the cultural elements of the original text with the two translate texts based on the cultural characteristic of this novel in the hope to explore the abundant cultural wealth in this novel. La traducci車n indirectan del ingl谷s al espa ol se public車 en 2009. Siendo una traducci車n indirecta de la versi車n inglesa, nos motiva la tarea de aclarar las estrategias traductoras de las dos traducciones cotej芍ndolas con el texto original. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es reflexionar sobre la traducci車n indirecta de la literatura china al espa ol partiendo del ejemplo de La vida y la muerte me est芍 desgastando. Para conseguir nuestro objetivo, teniendo en cuenta la riqueza cultural de esta novela, nos hemos basado en una comparaci車n y contraste de los elementos culturales del texto original con las traducciones para poder aprovechar la abundancia de los elementos culturales que hay en ella.
