An anomalous step-like behavior was observed in the E laser dependence of the G'-band frequency. This result is interpreted as a manifestation of the one-dimensional (1D) behavior of the phonon spectrum in carbon nanotubes. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0103-97332000000200026
