%X The aim of this article is to provide an interpretation of key issues in Martha Caj¨ªas¡¯ work, such as the multifaceted dialectics of fertility and maternity, life and death, memory and dreams, ethics of the ancestors, collective myths and family myth, and among this all, the overwhelming presence of Andean epistemology. El prop¨®sito de este trabajo es ofrecer una interpretaci¨®n de aspectos cruciales en la obra de Martha Caj¨ªas, como por ejemplo la compleja dial¨¦ctica fertilidad-maternidad, vida-muerte, memoria y sue os, la ¨¦tica de los ancestros, los mitos colectivos, el mito familiar, y en medio de todo, la enorme presencia de epistemolog¨ªa andina.
