%X This paper intends to analyze the changes motivated by the process of conversion to Christianism in Saxony between the 8th and 10th centuries, through the study of the Heliand, a reformulation of the Gospels to the Saxon culture and language, and Widukind of Corvey¡¯s Res Gestae Saxoniae. I will focus on how the figures of Christ and the apostles, as well as the kings, are presented.
