A detailed description of the meshes, boundary conditions, and loadings are presented. An illustrative application is given to evaluate stress amplification factors within a representative volume of the unidirectional carbon fiber composite plate. The results are discussed and compared to the numerical findings. %K Micromechanics %K Finite element analysis %K Composites %K Stress amplification factor %K Microstress distribution %U http://www.jatm.com.br/papers/vol3_n3/JATMv3n3_p239-250_Finite_element_procedure_for_stress_amplification_factor_recovering_in_a_representative_volume_of_composite_materials.pdf
